Back to 90’s

Hello beautiful people, Subho Noboborsho,1427.❤

So people, hope you all are safe. This is very very tough time for us. Hope everything will be fine. After months I am trying to write something for you guys. So, keep reading.

So in this blog I have tried to recreate 90’s fashion. The 90’s was one of the most fashionable decade of all times. Some fashion trends from the 90’s that have made a major come back like Dungarees, Off-shoulder tops, choker and many other outfits. We find this trend in Bollywood too. Even Hollywood actresses are also following the trend. 90’s fashion is quite popular among the Bollywood actresses nowadays. We never forget the cute girl in Dungaree from the movie ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, yes Kajal’s this look was very famous in that time. And now it’s back. We see bolly actresses like Kangana Ranawat, Katrina kaif, Alia bhatt in Dugaree look in several times. We also see Priyanka Chopra, Sonam Kapoor in choker. Recently Deepika Padukone while promoting her movie ‘Chhapaak’ wore a white long dress with black polka dots and a black headband which made her look more retro.

When I watch 90’s movies the outfits of the actresses inspire me a lot. So, I have decided to crate 90’s look in my way.

About the look 》》

Saree is such a elegant outfit which is always in vouge. As I’m a bengali girl I have a great affection for saree. I’m always a saree lover. I never skip any chance to wear saree.

I have chosen a black Tant(Handloom cotton) saree with orange polka dots from my mom’s closet. This saree is more than 15 years old. I have decided to wear this saree because I felt 90’s touch in the saree. The orange polka dots create a perfect retro look. Polka dots is in fashion since many years ago. I paired this with a simple sleeveless orange blouse.

As I am creating 90’s look so I have kept my hair simple. I have just side parted my hair and made a simple Braid. While creating this look I can remember those days when my mom made braids before school. Even now I make braids but only before sleep.

Keep maintaining the 90’s touch I have given my eyes a dramatic look. I have drawn winged eyeliner. I also wore black kajal. I think bengali girls look very beautiful in kajal. Kajal adds a charm in their eyes. This eye make up is inspired by Deepika’s look in the movie ‘Om Shanti Om’.

My favourite part of this look is Bindi. It is known that in the decade of 90’s girls liked to wear bindi. So I have opted for a little black Bindi. Bindi is associated with the spirit of womanhood. Bindi is also said to be the third eye in Hindu religion. I think a little touch of black bindi between the eyebrows makes bengali girls more gorgeous. The touch of this little black bindi has completed my overall look.

I have not wear any jewellery to keep my look simple. I have finished this look with a maroon lipstick.

Ok, That’s it. Hope you will like this blog.

Stay Safe. Stay Stylish. Stay Happy.❤
